Hi, I'm Aleksei

I'm a sports photographer and the official photographer of the Estonian Swimming Federation. I've been shooting competitions for over 5 years and have covered 50 events, including the Estonian swimming championships and cup, the Nordic Open Masters Championships, Zirk Swim Cup, open water races and the federation's annual gala.

For me, a sports photo is more than a winner on the podium. It's the focus before the start, the effort in the final metres and the emotion after the finish. Those moments matter to elite athletes and to a child at their very first race alike.

I work fast and without disrupting the event: organisers get the best shots the same evening, and athletes and parents find their own photos in the gallery.
